Rising above complexity in critical care: enabling workflows and precision.
In surgical robotics, complexity is necessary, but confusion is dangerous. How do we lift the interface above the noise, creating clarity in critical moments?
The best surgical experiences allow surgeons to extend their natural skill rather than adapt to new systems. To achieve this, I led a cross-functional, user-centered design team of 10+ who rose above complexity, reducing cognitive load while improving surgical precision.
